Extend CPF Dependants' Protection Scheme to age 67

I am troubled that the Dependants' Protection Scheme (DPS) is available to Central Provident Fund members only up to age 60 (What you need to know about DPS coverage; June 25).

Given that the re-employment age is now 67 and that adults are encouraged to continue working if they can, shouldn't the CPF Board consider extending this basic insurance coverage as long as premiums are paid?

Such coverage is even more necessary after the insured turns 60.
