On June 11, my mother was seen by Dr Wong See Hong of Healthcare Medical Centre in Hougang.

He found her condition to be potentially life-threatening and quickly provided a referral to a hospital for her admission. That decision proved to be a "life-saving" one, according to Singapore General Hospital staff.

On June 24, my mother's condition worsened and we brought her to Dr Wong's clinic, where he again treated her with patience and care.

My family and I are very grateful for what he did in both instances. We also thank the staff at the Hougang clinic who attended to my mother.
