Designate train boarding doors for the elderly

The new train queue markings should take the elderly into account ("On your marks, get set, queue"; Oct 3), and accord them priority in the queue.

What would be better is for specific train doors to be designated for the elderly. These doors could be programmed to open for a longer duration to allow the elderly, who are less mobile than the rest of the population, to make their way into the train, as they may not be able to stand in the queue for long.
