Clamp down on motorcyclists riding through void decks

Every day, I encounter motorcyclists whizzing through the void deck of my HDB block in Hougang in an attempt to circumvent the Electronic Parking System gantry.

It is particularly dangerous as their chosen path passes right in front of the lift, endangering residents. In fact, I was once almost hit by a motorcyclist who used the traffic island as his entry point onto the pavement and into the carpark.

I have made calls to the Traffic Police, the Land Transport Authority and the HDB, but to no avail.

My parents have also given feedback to our MP, who has written to the HDB, but he has yet to receive a response.

I hope something can be done as these daily occurrences are accidents waiting to happen.
