Who: Elliot Taylor Hong, 48, tutor and freelance actor.

My family: Single.

My home: An HDB flat in the north.

My passions: Travel and photography. I also enjoy acting as it gives me a chance to "live someone else's life". I also maintain a blog, which is also my travelogue, about places, people and events I encounter.

I first started writing to the Forum page in...: 2015.

What I write about: I write mainly on issues related to daily life.

Why I write: I write to share my points of view and suggestions to the relevant departments.

I read the Forum page because...: I can get to understand others' perceptions of certain issues and share them with my students as case studies.

My wish for Singapore: I am fortunate to lead a peaceful life in Singapore and hope this beautiful country continues to be a Shangri-La for our future generations.
