Video game's publicity stunt a reckless act

The publicity stunt by US video games company Activision is unacceptable and reckless ("Publicity stunt by US video games company sparks online furore"; yesterday).

I have friends in neighbouring countries who have related their experience of martial law to me, so I do not find the marketing campaign even remotely entertaining.

But perhaps some good may come out of this unfortunate incident if the scenario painted, of an explosion, prompts Singaporeans to think about their level of preparedness for a similar scenario in real life.
