Another pedestrian has been injured by a personal mobility device ("Woman still unconscious after e-scooter accident"; yesterday).

The use of electric scooters is becoming more common, and I often see users travelling at high speeds on park connectors and walkways.

The authorities need to do more to clamp down on this dangerous habit.
