Snuff out lighting up while walking

Another problem that should be addressed is people smoking as they walk ("Smoking ban to extend to reservoirs, parks"; yesterday).

Smokers puff away along pedestrian walkways, after they alight from the bus, for example.

They are hardly concerned about the people around them.

Non-smokers and children behind them have to endure the trail of unpleasant and harmful smoke.

Smoking while walking in the presence of others should be banned.
