See a stray bike? Move it to the right spot

Singaporeans' penchant for depending on the Government to intervene with more rules will not solve the problem of bike littering (Bike 'littering' will only get worse unless Govt steps in, by Mr Devdatt Vijay Nerurkar; May 26).

Despite our achievements, many have not developed the civil behaviour to become socially responsible people.

Instead of shaming them, let's show them how to behave by picking up a stray bike when we see one and placing it in an appropriate parking space.

Civic action is a greater motivator. Action speaks louder than words.
