Carparks C17 and C20, mentioned by Mr Sebastian Yeo, are located within Clementi Town Centre, and see a high demand from both season parking ticket (SPT) holders and visitors ("Parking bottleneck needs unclogging"; July 7).

To protect the interest of SPT holders, we implemented the Electronic Parking System in 2007.

Once the quota for non-SPT holders has reached its limit, the EPS will indicate that the carpark is full, and the barrier will lift only for season parking ticket holders.

We advise visitors to park at alternative carparks in the vicinity. These five carparks offer ample visitor spots: C20M, C21M, C18, C16 and CTM1. Motorists can check the location of HDB carparks via the Mobile@HDB App or through e-service on the HDB InfoWEB.
