Will providing instruction labels on recyclables spur more people to recycle?

Labelling does help, but people can't seem to make themselves walk up to recycling bins, however close these are, and that is the problem.

The Government and the community must work together, for instance, by incorporating recycling exercises into more community events.

Efforts in schools, hospitals, shopping malls, HDB estates and so on must be continual. Monetary rewards can also be given to kick-start the recycling effort.

Will having a water rationing exercise help drive home the message on saving water?

The last rationing exercise was more than 40 years ago. I still hold dearly to the lesson learnt.

I think this generation of citizens needs to know what it is like to have no water. Let's go for it.
