Help the disabled to enjoy events too

I visited the River Hongbao recently with my family to soak in the festivities.

While I enjoyed the beautiful floats and games, I could not help thinking that, for individuals with physical disabilities, accessing the River Hongbao is almost impossible, given the huge crowd.

I hope the organisers can consider opening up special dates exclusively for those with disabilities.

As a multiracial society, Singapore holds events like the River Hongbao and Hari Raya Bazaar to mark cultural festivals.

Hopefully, those with disabilities will be able to participate too.
