Fitness corner changed estate

My neighbours, both young and old, were all eager to use the new Elderly Fitness Corner when it was built at my HDB block's void deck in Bishan-Toa Payoh. It is like having a gym on our doorstep.

The fitness corner has changed my neighbourhood. Previously, many of us would just pass by the void deck, hurrying on to our tasks and not spending time to get to know one another.

Now, my neighbours exercise there every morning. It has become a place to gather, chat and exercise. The laughter and smiles of residents using the equipment show how meaningful the facility is.
