Civic-minded driving policy

Recently, while driving on the highway towards Potong Pasir, I saw a catering company's truck bearing a label that read: "How am I driving? For comments or concerns, call (a telephone number was given)."

I applaud the civic-mindedness of this company. This policy serves as a constant reminder to the driver to drive safely to avoid accidents.

In the wake of some recent tragic bus accidents, it is a good idea for buses to have this label too.

If a bus driver receives several complaints, he should be taken off duty and go for a driving conduct review. Such labels will serve as a good deterrent to reckless driving.
