The word "selfie" was Oxford Dictionaries' word of the year for 2013, and Casio is set on helping users take better and sharper ones in 2014. While last year's Casio Exilim EX-TR15 proved to be one of the most popular selfie cameras, its successor, the EX-TR35, promises more features.
The EX-TR35's new advanced selfie function provides voice guidance prompts users to take five successful selfies, and allows them time in-between shots to change poses and expressions.
Another new feature, the Triple Shot, takes three continuous shots with a single press of the shutter button to prevent accident blinking. Users can also combine this with Casio's famous Make-up mode to enhance their skin tone.
This 12-megapixel camera has a flexible frame system that allows its 21mm wide-angle lens and 3-inch touchscreen display to be rotated to almost any shooting position for that perfect selfie shot. The rotatable frame can also be used as a handle that users can grip while composing a picture. The Casio Exilim EX-TR35 is available from today for $1,199.
