Du
$5.98

If iOS7's Reminders and Calendar are not good enough for you, then this app is long overdue. This app makes it simple to create complicated recurring schedules and reminders.

You can select the alert sound and snooze it to remind you every minute or every hour until you tap on the circle to mark it as task done. You can also set recurring reminders, such as taking your pills every night at 11.59pm.

It lets you set up reusable timers for specific tasks. By default, it has a 20-minute timer for Power Nap and a one-hour timer for Parking. You can set a five-minute timer for a catnap or for cooking noodles.

Fuze
Free

This photo collage app has earned many accolades from sources that include TechCrunch and MacWorld. Unlike other apps of its type, Fuzel lets you easily create animated collages and set them to music in a stylish presentation.

You choose from a multitude of layouts or create your own. Then add photos, let the app choose the best arrangement, and you can add stickers, labels, frames and patterns.

You can also edit the photos, such as controlling contrast or adding a filter, in layout mode. Finally, choose the music in the app or import a tune from your iTunes library, and see your photo collage come alive.

IC Photo for Singapore NRIC and PassportsFree

Why waste time getting passport photos taken when you can do it with your iPhone and this app?

The app is made to help you take a photo that will be accepted by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).

The app guides you so that you can align your eyes, mouth, head and shoulders correctly. Once you are properly aligned, you take the picture and the app will resize the photo automatically to ICA's specifications. If you prefer physical prints, you can get five for $7 by ordering in the app from the app developer.

Retro for Instagram
Free

Specifically designed for iOS 7 and the iPad, the Retro for Instagram app presents a clean beautiful interface.

While Instagram offers only a scroll-down interface, Retro lets you view all the photos of the people you are following at a glance. You can easily toggle from viewing just the photos to viewing them together with comments. It is a more convenient and elegant way of looking at Instagram photos.

One section lets you view trending users, and also photos of featured users and places.

The $3.98 premium version lets you download photos and view everything without advertisements.

Starry Duo
Free

You fly through an enchanted forest, the dwelling place of stars, creatures and villains, wielding your magic wand to collect stars.

You can play a male or female character (he gets better wand upgrades, she gets superior spell upgrades). Control your character by simply dragging it on the screen.

The gameplay is simple - collect stars of a particular colour indicated while avoiding evil creatures.

You can collect potions by gathering enough stars, earn new spells and acquire wand upgrades along the way. And there will be creatures and bosses to defeat when you reach advanced levels.
