Houston, we've had a problem:Space fans can now listen to actual recordings of astronaut communications.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa) has uploaded audio clips from space missions to popular online platform SoundCloud.
According to Nasa's SoundCloud profile, the online library provides a collection of sounds from "historic spaceflights and current missions", such as the iconic "Houston, we've had a problem" and "Godspeed John Glenn". The collection also includes other otherworldly sounds. For instance, space fans can download the sound of "a passing comet" and use it as their smartphone ringtone.
The audio library was launched at the same time Twitter announced the use of tweets with audio attachments from SoundCloud.
