Warehouse developer Global Logistic Properties (GLP) has signed a pre-lease agreement with appliances brand Qingdao Haier Logistics

The agreement is for 377,000 square feet at GLP Park Liantang in Shanghai, said GLP on Dec 16.

GLP Park Liantang is located in Shanghai Qingpu Liantang Industrial Park, an important manufacturing base.

This is the second lease agreement between the two companies since Sept last year.

The space will be used as Haier Logistics' Eastern China regional distribution centre to meet the rising demand for logistics services from retail and e-commerce customers.

It also uses 301,000 sq ft at GLP Park Jiaonan in Qingdao.
