Share prices on the Singapore bourse closed flat, with the benchmark Straits Times Index ending the day marginally higher by 1.76 points or 0.05 per cent at 3,203.03.

Losers outpaced gainers 203 to 174 while 421 counters were unchanged.

Some 2.39 billion shares worth $916.9 million were done.
