Resale prices of non-landed private homes in Singapore slid 1.6 per cent in September from the preceding month, the SRX said in a flash report on Thursday.
This was mainly due to a 3.5 per cent drop in city fringe resale prices from August to September.
In suburban regions, private resale prices fell 1.5 per cent month-on-month.
However, the city centre had a 2.5 per cent rebound in resale prices in September.
An estimated 462 non-landed homes were resold in September, slightly higher than August's 447 units.
