SGX ties up with NTUC's e2i to attract more stockbroking recruits

The Singapore Exchange (SGX) is partnering NTUC's Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) to attract more people to join the stockbroking industry.

The tie-up will also equip stockbroking aspirants with the necessary skills, the two organisations said in a press release on Friday.

Up to 50 people will be trained in the pilot run of the partnership.

Under the scheme, candidates will enrol in training programmes at SGX's school, the SGX Academy. They will be given help in finding jobs after the training.

E2i will co-fund the pre-job training and help candidates to find jobs.
