SINGAPORE - Online real estate portal SRX Property has launched a free application on its website targeting Singapore's 1.4 million homeowners and renters.
The app service provides free personalized, monthly updates on changes in the computer-generated market value, rent, and rental yield of a subscriber's home, it said on Tuesday.
'My Property Tracker' also notifies subscribers about neighbourhood listings and transactions.
It can also be used to identify homes listed below their computer-generated market value, and, in many cases, compare transaction prices with listing prices.
The app covers all types of homes - HDB flats, private apartments and condominiums, and landed homes.
"Our goal is for every household in Singapore to receive monthly updates on the market value and rent of their homes," said Sam Baker, SRX Property's chief executive officer.
"This will make Singapore the most transparent property market in the world," he said.
Homeowners and renters can subscribe to Property Tracker on SRX.com.sg/tracker. They will then receives a personalized, secure, and unique webpage with a special URL tied to the home's postal code and a single mobile phone, said SRX Property which also releases monthly indices on prices and rents for both private homes and HDB flats.
