Over 300 attend first day of Property Seminar & Showcase 2016 for insights in uncertain market

SINGAPORE - Over 300 people turned up at the Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) auditorium on Saturday (May 7) for a seminar on the global property market.

The first day of the Property Seminar & Showcase 2016, presented by SPH Digital, was headlined by a talk given by PropNex Realty CEO Mohamed Ismail Gafoor, who shared key insights amid the current uncertainty in the property market.

He said property owners or investors can take the opportunity to reorganise their portfolio, and evaluate their existing properties' potential over the next five to 10 years based on factors such as rental yield, potential capital appreciation and master plan rejuvenation.

Other topics discussed included predictions for Malaysian real estate, residential real estate investment and using feng shui as a tool for success.

Participants keen to attend the the seminar on Sunday can look forward to tips on how to find the right investment opportunities in challenging times, as well as how to price a property in a buyer's market.

Speakers lined up include SRX Property co-founders Sam Baker and Jeremy Lee, the founder and CEO of Running Stream International Dan Toh and Mr Siva Shankar, the immediate past president of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents.

It costs $15 for entry to the seminar.

There will also be a free showcase of premium development projects alongside the seminar.
