Property firm Overseas Union Enterprise Ltd (OUE) asked for a trading halt in its shares this morning, pending a release of an announcement.

Dealers said that the announcement could be related to the planned listing of its hospitality and retail real estate investment trust (Reit).

OUE had earlier said that it was planning to inject Mandarin Orchard Singapore and Mandarin Gallery into its Reit.
