Cengiz Belentepe: Named global head of commodities, financial markets, for Standard Chartered.

Mr Belentepe was most recently global head of commodities at Barclays' Non-Core Division with responsibility for the metals and energy businesses. Before that, he led the restructuring and turnaround of Barclays' base and precious metals trading business. He earlier founded and ran a quantitative commodity trading adviser fund.

Metal Component Engineering Tan Soo Yong: Resigned as executive director to pursue other personal interests. His last day will be March 15 next year. Mr Tan, 53, had been responsible for the industrial product business unit which operated out of Shanghai.

Chua Wui Lik: Appointed as group financial controller. Mr Chua, 56, had previously been the chief financial officer of KS Distribution from 2010 to 2015.

Yeo Choon Tat: Retired as group financial controller last Thursday. Mr Yeo, 63, had been responsible for the group's accounting and finance functions, including tax, treasury and compliance matters.

Tang Hong Cheong: Appointed as director and group managing director. Mr Tang, 61, will direct and manage the company and its subsidiaries. He is president and chief executive of Guoco Group, a deemed substantial shareholder of GuocoLand.

Quek Leng Chan: Ceased to be director and non-executive chairman of the board due to the internal restructuring of the Hong Leong Group, of which the company is a member. Mr Quek, 73, had been appointed to his position in 1997.

Kwek Leng Hai: Appointed the non-executive chairman of the board, a member of the nominating committee and the remuneration committee. He has been a director of the company since May 2005.

He is the brother of Mr Quek Leng Chan.
