SINGAPORE - Noble Group announced that it has completed the disposal of Noble Americas Energy Solutions to Calpine Energy Services Holdco II on Dec 1 for about US$1.16 billion.

The commodity trader has been divesting assets and cutting costs to bolster its balance sheet after the company was roiled by a share price collapse, a full-year loss and a ratings downgrade.

Noble Group had announced the potential sale in October, a company released said.
