Morning business news round-up for July 25, 2014

1. Singapore manufacturing output inches up 0.4 per cent in June. Electronics production fell 4.8 per cent in June over the same month last year, statistics released on Friday by the Economic Development Board (EDB) showed.

2. Private home prices fall 1 per cent in Q2, slightly less than earlier estimated. This followed a 1.3 per cent decrease in the first quarter, the Urban Redevelopment Authority said on Friday.

3. Property gains bump up Yoma Strategic's Q1 net profit. Earnings rose to $1.4 million in its first quarter this year, up 243 per cent from $0.4 million a year ago.
