Morning business news round-up for Aug 13, 2014

1. Only one in five Singapore investors think CPF is enough for retirement. Nearly half the investors polled in a Manulife survey feel their CPF savings will not be sufficient to cover their retirement expenses, and over four in 10 believe the returns are too small.

2. Singapore Technologies Engineering posts 10% fall in Q2 earnings. All divisions except electronics posted lower pre-tax profits, the group said.

3. Q&M Dental Group completes acquisition of CAD/CAM component maker. This will bring computer-aided design and manufacturing dentistry technology to the mass market.
