Markets highlights

1 Indonesian stocks rose to a more than five-week high yesterday as the rupiah also strengthened. The Jakarta composite index jumped 2.4 per cent to its highest level since Aug 31.

2 Global Logistics Properties has leased 270,000 sq ft to Ceva Logistics. Ceva is leasing the entire facility at Mowry Business Centre #4 in Newark, California. The lease started last month.

3 IT services firm DeClout will spin off its subsidiary Procurri to be listed on the Singapore Exchange.

Procurri distributes data centre equipment and provides multi-vendor maintenance to customers in 40 countries.

4 All investments at Volkswagen will be placed under review, said the company, as the German group grapples with the fallout from its diesel emissions scandal, reported Reuters

5 Opec secretary-general Abdullah al-Badri said the oil situation is improving, citing increasing demand for the producer group's crude and lower growth in supply from countries outside Opec.
