Keppel Offshore & Marine subsidiaries win five contracts worth $150 million

SUBSIDIARIES of Keppel Offshore & Marine (O&M) have secured five contracts worth a total of about $150 million.

Keppel Shipyard has won projects from joint venture firm Armada C7, Apache Energy and EMAS AMC.

Keppel Shipyard's work for Armada C7 includes refurbishment and life extension works, and the upgrading of living quarters to accommodate 70 people, and these are scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of next year.

For Apache Energy, it will renew steel and piping systems renewal and other works include coating works and equipment overhauling.

It will also fabricate an external turret for an floating storage and offloading unit for MAS AMC.

Keppel Nantong Shipyard has also won two contracts from Smit Shipping Singapore, for the construction of two submersible barges, which will be deployed in Europe.
