Japan's economy grows 0.3% in Q4, 1.6% in 2013: Govt

TOKYO (AFP) - Japan's economy grew 0.3 per cent in the October-December quarter, bringing the annual expansion to 1.6 per cent in 2013, official data showed on Monday.

The quarterly growth was weaker than the 0.7 per cent expansion economists had expected on average in a survey by the Nikkei economic daily.
