Diamonds are a girl's best friend. But girls often overpay for them, so says Mr Nicholas Lim, founder and chief executive of online diamond marketplace Luxiee.

"Diamonds that you purchase through normal retail channels can be very overpriced owing to the premiums and mark-ups by the suppliers and brands," he said.
