Frasers Hospitality said on Tuesday it has opened its second property, the 128-unit Fraser Residence Menteng, in Jakarta.
The hospitality arm of the Frasers Centrepoint Group added that it plans to grow its footprint in Indonesia with the opening of another six properties in Jakarta and two in other Indonesian cities to total over 1700 serviced units in the country by 2017.
Frasers Hospitality chief executive officer Choe Peng Sum said in the statement that its first property in the Indonesian capital, Fraser Residence Sudirman Jakarta, opened in 2011 and has enjoyed occupancy exceeding 90 per cent.
The company also said it is on track to double its global inventory to 30,000 serviced residences over the next five years from 15,500 units in 92 properties currently.
