Four new members on Maritime and Port Authority Board

SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Transport has appointed four new members to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) Board.

The new members are:

- Mr Carl Krogh Arnet, CEO of BW Offshore

- Mr Luke Goh, senior director at the Prime Minister's Office and director of the Institute of Governance and Policy at the Civil Service College

- Mr Kam Soon Huat, General Secretary and COO of the Singapore Organisation of Seamen

- Mrs Quek Bin Hwee, Vice Chairman at PricewaterhouseCoopers

Three members will serve for a period of three years, starting from next Monday (Feb 2), the Ministry said. Mrs Quek's term will start from April 1.

The chairman of the board remains Mr Lucien Wong, chairman of law firm Allen & Gledhill.

The MPA Board provides strategic direction to develop and promote Singapore as a global hub port and an international maritime centre.
