Yellen: Europe's slow growth threatens global economy

WASHINGTON (AFP) - U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen said on Wednesday that extremely slow economic growth and low inflation in the European economy is a danger to the rest of the world.

"It is one of the number of risks of the global economy and we certainly hope they will be successful in seeing the pace of growth and inflation pick up," she said after a Fed monetary policy meeting.
