Singapore's manufacturing in March declines 5.5%

SINGAPORE - Singapore's manufacturing sector dropped 5.5 per cent in March compared with a year ago, the Economic Development Board (EDB) said on Friday afternoon.

Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output was 4.4 per cent lower from a year ago.

On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, manufacturing output increased 1.2 per cent in March 2015. Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output fell 0.9 per cent.
