An exhibitor demonstrating a 3D drawing pen during the ShowStoppers section of the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this week. The CES is expected to bring a range of announcements from major names in technology showcasing new developments in virtual reality, self-driving cars, drones, wearables and the Internet of Things. "The CES is the centre stage for amazing innovations that will drive our industry to US$287 billion (S$412 billion) in United States sales this year," said Mr Gary Shapiro, president and chief executive officer of the Consumer Technology Association. More than 3,600 exhibitors, including a record 500 start-ups, are attending this year's show, covering about 222,967 sq m of exhibition area.
