Digital entertainment firm MatchMove is Singapore's fastest-growing tech company

MatchMove Global, which provides digital entertainment and social enterprise solutions for online businesses, is Singapore's fastest-growing technology company, according to a ranking by Deloitte Singapore.

The company's revenue grew by 902 per cent over the last three years, said Deloitte. Its ranking identified the 500 Asia-Pacific companies with the highest revenue growth in a three-year period.

Across the region, MatchMove was the 25th fastest-growing tech company. The top firm was Taiwan's China Communications Media Group, where revenue jumped 26,584 per cent - or 266 times - over the last three years.

MatchMove, which has more than 250 million users and offices spanning Asia and the United States, helps online businesses increase revenue and user loyalty by using social networking, mobile commerce and gamification - the application of game-design principles in situations outside gaming.

"Singapore is generating an increasing number of fast-growing, successful technology companies especially in the Interactive Digital Media (IDM) space," said Mr John Goeres, Deloitte Southeast Asia's Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry Leader in a press release on Friday.

"We have seen Singapore rapidly establishing itself as the regional hub for IDM that is well-poised to capitalise on the upward growth of the technology sector in the region's markets," he added.

Two other Singapore companies made it to Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 Ranking in the Asia-Pacific region: multilingual social media tracker JamiQ, at 29th place with three-year revenue growth of 870 per cent, and credit card payment processor 2C2P, in the 100th spot with 332 per cent revenue growth.
