Yields for two-year Japanese government bonds turn negative for first time ever

TOKYO (Reuters) - Two-year Japanese government bonds traded at a negative yield for the first time in history on Friday, as the Bank of Japan's massive bond buying has crushed short-term debt yields.

The two-year yield fell to minus 0.005 per cent . Yields for shorter government bills have turned negative since September.
