WongPartnership appoints Rachel Eng deputy chairman

SINGAPORE - WongPartnership, one of Singapore's Big Four law firms, has appointed Ms Rachel Eng, its former joint managing partner to deputy chairman, alongside current deputy chairman Tan Chee Meng.

Ms Eng, who also sits on the board of StarHub and SPH Reit, manages the capital markets practice, which advises issuers and underwriters on public and private placements, including primary and secondary listings on the Singapore Exchange, as well as IPOs of Reits and business trusts.

She also handles corporate governance & compliance and the practices in China, India and Myanmar.

Mr Ng Wai King, who heads the firm's corporate group, remains managing partner, while Mr Alvin Yeo continues in his role as chairman of the practice.
