iAdvisory workshop: Understanding India's consumer durables industry

This five-day programme is designed to help Singapore's consumer appliances and electronics retailers develop market-entry strategies for India.

Participants will be able to gain insights into the consumer appliances and electronics sector as well as get feedback about their products and services in India through a combination of workshops with trainers from Orissa International, local experts and site visits to malls, e-commerce and logistic players and relevant distributors.

iBF executive programme to Nanjing and Chengdu: Outlook and trends for China's consumer electronics industry

Date: Sept 12 to 19

Venues: Nanjing and Chengdu (China)

Fees: $1,200 course fee (after funding by IE Singapore, for eligible applicants only) and $2,000 common fund

The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, together with IE Singapore, is organising the international business fellowship executive programme to Nanjing and Chengdu.

Participants will gain an understanding of macro indicators and economic policies driving China's consumer electronics industry, insights into growth and trends, as well as explore business opportunities arising from China's Internet development, through lessons at Nanjing University and dialogue sessions with government bodies.

The programme includes site visits to firms such as Chengdu Foxconn Technology Group and Jiangsu Post and Telecommunications Planning and Designing Institute.
