SINGAPORE - Tiger Airways will be delisted from the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange with effect from 9am on Tuesday (Nov 8), completing the budget carrier's successful privatisation by Singapore Airlines.

The delisting follows the company's full redemption of its outstanding securities, said Tigerair said in filing on Monday (Nov 7).

It said it has fully redeemed and cancelled its S$219.7 million worth of 2 per cent perpetual convertible capital securities.
