Tee International bags $95m in engineering contracts

SINGAPORE - Mainboard-listed Tee International announced on Thursday (Sept 8) that the group has been awarded new engineering contracts worth approximately S$95 million from August to September this year, bringing its total outstanding order book to approximately S$324 million.

Its wholly-owned subsidiary, PBT Engineering Pte Ltd, was appointed the main contractor for addition & alteration and extension works to AXA Tower.

Another contract was awarded to Tee to perform A&A and interior fit-out works for PSB Academy's new campus at Marina Square Shopping Mall. The latest campus will span more than 100,000 sq ft across two floors and works are expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2017.

Tee was also appointed by Or Kim Peow Contractors (Pte) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OKP Holdings Ltd, to provide mechanical & electrical (M&E) works for a sunken glide path building and associated works at Seletar Airport, which is currently in the process of building a new passenger terminal building. Tee said the M&E contract adds on to its track record of airport-related A&A works for Changi Airport Group.
