Swissco Holdings units win charter contracts worth $118.1m

SINGAPORE - Marine services company Swissco Holdings said on Friday that four units of its subsidiary have won charter contracts worth about US$94.8 million (S$118.1 million) in all.

The subsidiaries of Scott and English Energy will provide four mobile offshore drilling units to be used by an oil major to support its activities in Latin America.

The charter contracts will last for up to two years and are conditional upon the delivery of such mobile offshore drilling units to the Scott and English Energy subsidiaries.

When they are deployed, the chartered units are expected to add to Swissco's earnings per share and net tangible asets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31.
