SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (April 13), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,840.50 in early trade, up 0.92 per cent, or 25.85 points.
Around 92 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 116 to 23.
