SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.82% higher on Thursday (Sept 22), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,874.15 in early trade, up 0.82 per cent, or 23.41 points.

Around 80.5 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 110 to 19.
