SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,930.43 in early trade, up 0.81 per cent, or 23.51 points.
Around 249.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 85 to 47.
