SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (March 1), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,114.98 in early trade, up 0.59 per cent, or 18.37 points.
Around 162.8 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 97 to 94.
