SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (March 16), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,155.29 in early trade, up 0.57 per cent, or 17.86 points.
Around 118.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 131 to 24.
