Singapore shares open 0.57% higher on Thursday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (March 10), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,826.57 in early trade, up 0.57 per cent, or 16.14 points.

Around 88.1 million shares exchanged hands.

Losers beat gainers 111 to 22.
